Video tutorial: add, import and manage your students
In short — A few minutes of video: create a class, import your students from a CSV or Excel file (or add them by hand), and find every student record in one tap. With the bare minimum of data: a first name is enough.
What the video covers
- Creating a class and adding students by hand, in seconds;
- importing a CSV or Excel file: SnapJury recognizes your columns, you confirm;
- the student record: history of orals and assignments, progress over time;
- moving, renaming, reorganizing — your classes stay editable at any time.
💡 On the data side, SnapJury applies minimization: a first name is enough to track a student. Everything stays on your devices and your private iCloud — nothing goes to a third-party server.
Going further
The written walkthrough, including how to prepare your import file, is in import your students: classes ready in 5 minutes. Once your classes are set up, run your first oral with the "grade your first oral" tutorial.
All tutorials are also on the SnapJury YouTube channel, and inside the app.
Frequently asked questions
Which file formats can I import?
CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files — typically an export from your school management system, or a hand-made spreadsheet with a column of first names.
Do I need students' full names?
No. SnapJury is designed to work with minimal data: a first name (or first name + initial) is enough.
Can I edit a class during the year?
Yes: add a student who arrives mid-year, rename a class, move a student — everything stays editable, without losing any history.
